This popular South American drink, Yerba Mate Tea, is a classic for a reason. We love it as an afternoon pick-me-up when you need something both healthy and rejuvenating.
Savor a South American Classic
Yerba mate is made from a South American herb related to the holly bush. It’s prized for its distinctive taste – smooth yet strong, earthy, and ever-so-slightly bitter. The aroma is herbal and invigorating, often compared to eucalyptus. It’s a distinct flavor well-loved by those who know it.
But yerba mate isn’t just delicious. It’s rich in antioxidants and is known for its energizing properties. Its caffeine content is higher than tea but lower than coffee, so you can enjoy it without the buzz, jitters, or crash of a morning cup of joe.
Naturally Aged for Optimal Flavor
After harvesting the yerba mate, our farmers allow the plant’s leaves and stems to age. This process brings out the yerba mate’s natural mild flavors and delicate aroma of the plant’s components.
Ingredients
Our organic yerba mate contains no added ingredients. That means when you sit down to enjoy a cup, you’ll be able to detect all the complexities and nuances of its pure, unadulterated preparation. We believe that sometimes, the best tasting experience is also the simplest.
